After breakfast which was best I have had since Piacenza , fruit salad yoghurt , toast and coffees.
We set off around 9:30 in.to a
pleasant sunny morning. b&B was in Ca Barbieri so walked a couple of back into Volpedo then onwards towards next Bed.
Today had a peaceful Sunday chill and ni , ascensions were less sharp and shorter.
Coffee stop at 1:30ish was in a village some.where in the patio of a busy Osteria full of Sunday lunches
In Tortona Bea's husband met us around 4pm and we drove off to the" il Country hotel" outside Tortona for the nights stay.
I had drama at checkin because as often my international.Vax certificate would not scan.
After a mini Italian drama by receptionist and anyone else that wanted to have a say they finally accepted it.
.had a great dinner in a gracious but seen Better days restaurant , cream spinach soup lamb chops and slightly too much wine.
Asleep by 11ish.
